PGC Mechanical was established in 1987. We pride ourselves on the installation of quality plumbing systems with attention to quality service to both the contractor and owner. We also have a full service department providing repair service to both commercial and residential customers.
PGC focuses on commercial construction, both new and retrofit. We specialize in healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and airport work. We are certified to do plumbing installations requiring medical gas piping. In the past ten years, PGC has completed projects at most of the local hospitals including South Miami, Baptist, Miami Children's, and Jackson Memorial Hospital. We are proud of the numerous projects we have been involved with at the University of Miami, both on the main campus and the medical campus. We are currently involved with DCPS in their construction projects adding classroom buildings to schools throughout Miami Dade. Our first job at MIA was to renovate areas to accommodate American Airlines in 1988. We continue to work for American today, including portions of the North Terminal Development work, and construction of their Admiral's Clubs. PGC has had a team at the airport for twenty years. We have been a part of providing most of the new restaurants and food courts currently enjoyed by travelers.
PGC is a woman owned business and are currently certified as such with Miami Dade County Public Schools. In addition, we are certified as a Community Small Business Enterprise, and a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.
Charles Goins is the qualifier for the company and holds both a Dade County master license and a State of Florida Master license. In addition, he is certified as a Medical Gas Installer. The qualifier must hold this certification for the company to be permitted to perform medical gas piping.
